Seating is by Berkline and Lazy-boy
Screen Drapery is Duvetyne - Custom made by Sew What Inc. - The screen masking material is Duck cloth purchased from Joanne's fabrics.
I designed and built a platform, and added two LazyBoy recliners giving us another row of seating. The platform is 8 feet long by 4.6 feet deep and appoximately 8 3/4 inches high. I added lighting to the platform, which runs along the underside of the top lip ( which I extended two inches all around ). The lighting effect when the room is dark is excellent. This addition makes things more theaterlike as well as making it quite a bit more comfortable when there is company over to watch a movie.
I also designed and built from scratch the DVD rack. I used a mahogany stain followed by polyurethane. I rounded and beveled the corners and edges which gives them a less squared look.
